PARENTAL SUPPORT & INVOLVEMENT

The time commitment is small, but the impact is huge!

There are 2 different types of Parent Volunteers:

1. Attendance: The Front Office staff needs parent volunteers to assist during checking in of the enrichment classes.

   These parents are needed during the transition period between dismissal of class and start of enrichment when the instructor is ready to begin their class. They will help gather the attendance for their class and return it to the front office as soon as possible. They will support the kids until the instructor is ready to begin their class. Volunteer Time is approximately 25 minutes from 3:00-3:25pm

2. Dedicated: Some classes, as noted, cannot run without a dedicated parent volunteer. If we don’t get a parent volunteer, the class will have to be cancelled.

   These parents will assist with attendance at the start of class as well as adult supervision if a child needs to use the restroom or needs first aid during the class. Volunteer Time is approximately one hour and 25 minutes from 3:00-4:25pm.

We do reimburse for volunteering and it will depend on time donated.

For example, a Dedicated volunteer who helps for all classes of a session will get a $50 reimbursement.
